A long standing and much loved full time member of our team is retiring this summer, another of our current teachers is taking this post by returning to full time from a job share. This leaves us with her job share post to fill. Working alongside one of our very experienced and respected teachers this role would be ideal for a newly or recently qualified teacher who wants to build a career in an innovative, supportive and successful school.
We are seeking a teacher who understands our values and desires to work in our inclusive school, at the heart of our village; a teacher who sees each child as an individual and each family as unique. Your aspirations should be to teach engaging and absorbing lessons, with a clear concept of what you want the children to learn. Your ambition should be that every pupil in your class makes the best possible progress; just as you are entitled to grow your career in a school that respects your individuality and supports your needs too. If you are an NQT or an RQT this will be a significant move for you and we are ready to invest time and CPD in the right person for us.
This post is suitable for an NQT (induction support provided over 18 months as the post is .6) or RQT, as the job share colleague is an experienced teacher and able to nurture their partner , it is therefore offered at main scale point 1 or 2. More experienced teachers are welcome to apply, if the hours appeal, but should note the pay scale above.
We are a close knit, passionate group of staff and finding a like minded professional to join us is very important. To make sure you want us and we “fit”, tours of the school will be available during and after school, by appointment between now and the closing date. Conversations with a senior team member can also be arranged.
The dead line for application forms is noon on April 3rd.
If you are invited to interview you will know by Friday April 5th and an e mail pack with all the details will be sent so you have time to plan your lesson over the Easter holidays.
Only at this point we will seek references from the referees you have given us. Please ensure their full contact details are n your application.
Interviews will take place Thursday 25th of April.
