Keep up to date with the latest news at Billingborough Primary School. Our updates are also available in our monthly Newsletter, and key dates are shared on the Calendar.
This last week of term has been full of many fun and educational activities across the school. There has been creative writing about Easter, investigations into seed growing conditions, a walk around the village to spot geographical landmarks and features, a school-wide egg decorating competition, as well as a KS1 trip to the farm. We hope that all children involved have benefited from getting out into the fresh air and learning about Spring. We would also like to wish all students and parents a lovely break and we look forward to seeing you after the holidays.
This week some of our Year 4, 5 and 6 students attended Young Voices in Sheffield. The concert was a huge success and our students did a great job representing the school. It was wonderful for so many parents to be able to watch and cheer on in the crowd. Special thanks to Mrs McLeary for organising the trip, and as always for the support of parents. Photos of the event have been posted on ClassDojo.
This week has marked the launch of our new app, ClassDojo, which allows teachers to share class news and updates with parents. If you have not connected already please do, so you’re able to keep up to date with class activities and your child’s performance.
This year students and parents had the opportunity to celebrate the holiday season in a variety of fun ways! We had carol concerts, nativity performances, craft activities and parties - and it was wonderful for both staff and the children to be able to share these events with parents and carers.
We would like to wish you a Happy New Year and thank you for your continued support going into 2023.
