The school awards a variety of shields, cups and trophies each long term for children who have achieved over and above expectations. These include:
A Shield for each class which is presented to a pupil who has embodied the school values, who has shown commitment and determnation in their learning and as a result of which has made good progress from their individual starting point.
Cups or trophies for progress and achievment in Reading, Writing and Maths in Upper and Lower School.
Cups, trophies and shields for sporting achievement, skill and determination.
Shields for the improvement or consistency in the presentation of written work.
Specific subject awards for The Arts, ICT and French.
A Perseverance shield and a Friendship shield.
All the children who receive awards have a mounted photograph to take home and an Achievement badge to wear (for ever!) . Each term’s shield and cup holders "re-receive" their awards at the school's annual family picnic in July so parents can share the experience. During the rest of the year the trophies are on display in the cabinet in the library, you are welcome to come and admire them!
