A warm welcome to the Dormice Class page.
We are a class of Nursery children aged 3 and 4 years. We have fun with our grown ups; Mrs Hopkinson, Mrs Harker and Miss Walker. We love to learn through play and investigation both indoors and out. We are lucky to have a wonderful outside area to explore.
This term, our project will be We are superheroes!
Over the last two weeks, we have been busy settling into our new class and learning our new routines. We have made many new friends and are enjoying learning together.
We have enjoyed exploring outside with our friends - climbing trees, steering and negotiating the vehicles and preparing ourselves for some DIY!
Working together to build models using different construction equipment, colour mixing at the painting table as well as making our own registers.
Developing our cutting skills, making and trying porridge like Goldilocks and the 3 bears.
We enjoyed listening to the story The Rainbow Fish and have been sharing our toys with each other, just like the Rainbow Fish shared his shimmery, shiny scales. We made collage Rainbow Fish and have created a beautiful class display with our fish and other sea creatures.
We love spending time in our garden and have enjoyed playing in the sand, climbing along our mini assault course, climbing the tree, building in our construction area as well as planting some new plants for our garden area.
Coming very soon, some photos of us learning both inside and outside.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
