We are a class of pre-Reception and Reception children aged 3 and 4 years. We have fun with our grown ups; Mrs Hopkinson, Mrs Long and Mrs Harker. We love to learn through play and investigation both indoors and out. We are lucky to have a spacious newly refurbished classroom and a wonderful outside area to explore.
Our topic this and next term is Winter Wonderland.
We have been learning about Artic regions. Enjoy our penguin art.
Our topic last term was Food and Feasts.
We enjoyed making bread
like the Little Red Hen...
We made our own butter with cream (and lots of shaking) then tasted it on a variety of different breads, delicious!
Thw white bread was the favourite followed by croissants.
We read The Giant Jam Sandwich then made our own jam sandwiches...
We love to play outside...
We went on a bear hunt... Uh uh! Grass long, wavy grass.
Uh uh! A river, a deep cold river.
Uh uh! Mud thick oozy mud.
Uh uh! A big dark forest.
Uh uh! A snow storm a whirling swirling snow storm.
Uh Uh! A cave a narrow gloomy cave... and a bear!
A sunny September afternoon exploring outside.
