Raindrops Y1 and 2 2014-15

Welcome to Raindrops. We are a class of 28 year 1 and 2 children. Our teacher is Mrs Lee and we have Mrs Grimer and Mrs Stamp to help us too. We have recently enjoyed learning about space. We learnt about the famous Apollo 11 mission, designed and made our own spaceship in the classroom and did many science investigations with the focus on forces. We particularly enjoyed the 'space mouse' investigation. In addition, we invited StarLincs into school and we were wowed with images of our solar system projected onto the walls of a giant planetarium.

 

For the Summer term we are going to be learning about the Egyptians. So hopefully in a couple of weeks we can share some of our work with you.

Raindrops trip to 'the Collection' 11th June 2015 with an Egyptian theme
