Welcome to Roe Deer!

 

Our Teacher is Miss Carter. Supporting our class is Mrs Webster and Mr Boulton.

 

General Reminders

Our new P.E. days are now Tuesday and Wednesday, please can your child come to school in P.E. kit both days. Our reading book change days are Tuesday (normal reader) and Thursday (Monster Phonics). Our spelling day will now be a Thursday. Please can you also ensure your child has a labelled water bottle in school at all times.

 

Our new topic will be: 

Super Structures 

 

We will begin by learning about modern day houses before looking at the features of Victorian, Georgian, Tudor, Norman, Middle Age, Viking, Roman and Prehistoric houses.

This week we have been investigating how to change materials by stretching, squashing, twisting and bending a range of objects!

This week in Year 2, we have enjoyed sequencing events from the film clip 'Bridge' during English.
