What is Early Help?
‘Early help is for everybody, for families with children and young people of any age. It is about helping as early as possible; from pregnancy to your child being 18. It is about looking at what help you need as a family before you start to struggle. The earlier we can get the support, the better the outcome.’
This process is led by you, what you want as support and who you want it from. We will fill in an online form and set actions to be worked on. Best of all we can find support for you and ask them to come and meet with you to help you. The meetings take place approximately every 4 to 6 weeks and are called Team Around the Family meetings (TAF). You nominate a Lead Professional (LP) to co-ordinate the support. They are hugely successful and we have provided support at an early level so small issues do not become bigger ones.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
