Early Year Foundation Stage
The EYFS https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2 along with Development Matters, set out the standards for development, learning and care of children from birth to five. It is important that all children are given the opportunity to experience the best start to their education. At Billingborough Primary school we ensure that all children have the ability to build on the range of the experiences they have had before and go onto become life long learners and educated citizens. Through the expertise, care and love of the EYFS staff we provide learning experiences of the highest quality. Allowing children to play, learn, progress and flourish in an environment in which they feel loved, challenged and confident. This prepares them for starting the National Curriculum in year 1.
At Billingborough Primary School our moto is Take Every Opportunity . In EYFS this is something that we feel passionate about. We ensure that children are given experiences and the ability to use all the opportunities available to active and be the best that they can be.
