Please note:
Since we advertised for two new teachers, we have had an internal applicant for one position which changes the nature of our vacancies as follows:
Our Key Stage 2 Vacancy is now part time
Our Key Stage 1 Vacancy remains unchanged.
Are you one of our new teachers?
Two of our teachers are moving on; one to retirement and another wishes to make some changes to her teaching commitment and to reduce a long commute. Therefore we are looking to recruit 2 new members to join our school team:
►One to teach FULL TIME in our Year 1-2 bubble alongside two other job-sharing colleagues.
►Another to offer leadership support alongside two experienced partners in our Year 4-5 and year 6 class. This is a PART TIME role 2 confirmed days a week, Thursday , Friday and possibly some other days for pupil catch up interventions as required.
We are seeking enthusiastic, inspiring practitioners.
In KS1, we are looking for excellent phonics teaching skills and solid experience of working in a Year 1 and / or Year 2 class.
We are a happy, welcoming school in the heart of our village. Our numbers have increased in recent years, so much so that our Year 1 - 2 class has expanded and now requires two teachers, as it exceeds infant class sizes of 30. We added a third class to KS2 a few years ago for similar reasons.
The KS1 advertised post is predominantly based with our Year 1's but the teacher we choose can expect to work across the bubble.
The KS2 post is based in a Year 4-5 class with cover in Year 6 as well.
We can offer you:
We are looking for:
Our new colleagues need to be available full time / part time as appropriate from January 2021 for two terms, until July 2021; the contracts will be dependent on the needs of the school thereafter. Part time hours for catch up intervention may also be available in November and up to Christmas 2020 if our chosen teacher is free.
Ideally, we are seeking applications from main scale teachers who already have some experience in Key Stage 1 and 2. However, we would consider applications from NQTs who can demonstrate the appropriate skill set; this should be explained and illustrated in your personal statement.
A full application pack is available below.
We will distantly offer out of school hours, visits to see our school if the new lockdown rules permit, we are still seeking clarification on this; please contact us for an update to arrange a suitable time if it is possible.
